For Diamonds

From the ancient Greeks to the modern day, diamonds have been considered to be magical, powerful and potent symbols. They are also revered for their physical properties, durability, sparkle and the many legends and myths that have been attached to them through history.

Perhaps the most famous tradition for diamond rings is using them as engagement rings.

The diamond has been considered the ultimate symbol of love since 1447 when Archduke Maximillian of Austria gave Mary of Burgundy a diamond ring as a promise of marriage. However, this influential tradition can be traced back to the Middle Ages and even Roman times. The Romans valued the diamond for its supernatural powers and later Italians believed that the diamond could maintain good relations between a married couple so they recommended it as the stone to be set in wedding rings.

There are literally thousands of varieties of Diamond jewellery strewn all over the ornaments industry and market. The versatility of the diamond has allowed the gem to work its way right up to the top, beating its closest competitors by miles by virtue of its beauty as well as its heritage. Diamond jewellery is available for all occasions and purposes and in a plethora of designs suited for virtually every necessity. In fact, it is difficult nowadays to cite an instance where diamond jewellery does not fit in.
Diamond is the birthstone for the month of April. No gemstone can match the fire and the brilliance of diamond. It is treasured for its beauty, rarity, durability, and glamour. Diamond stands for purity, eternity, and courage.

We like Diamonds...after all they are girls best friend and as we can see from the following pictures...not only girls are crazy about diamonds.

For Domnican Republic

The Dominican Republic (Spanish: República Dominicana) is a nation on the island of Hispaniola, part of the Greater Antilles archipelago in the Caribbean region. The culture and people of the Dominican Republic, like its Spanish Caribbean neighbors, is a blend of the cultures of the Spanish colonists, African slaves, and Taíno natives. European.
Many Arawak/Taíno names and words are used in daily conversation and for many foods native to the Dominican Republic.Dominican cuisine is predominantly Spanish, Taíno, and African. The typical cuisine is quite similar to what can be found in other Latin American countries, but many of the names of dishes are different.

Musically, the Dominican Republic is known for the creation of the musical style called merengue but it has also created ``Bachata``, a form of music and dance that originated in the countryside and rural marginal neighborhoods of the Dominican Republic and which has become quite popular in recent years. Its subjects are often romantic; especially prevalent are tales of heartbreak and sadness. In fact, the original name for the genre was amargue ("bitterness", or "bitter music", or blues music), until the rather ambiguous (and mood-neutral) term bachata became popular. Bachata grew out of, and is still closely related to, the pan-Latin American romantic style called bolero. Over time, it has been influenced by merengue and by a variety of Latin American guitar styles.

The  Dominican Republic is mostly adequate for those who just want to unplugg themselves from daily stress and just relax. In the Dominican Republic  even if you wont find the stress from the big citys you will still find the luxury one desires.
So dear friends ...enjoy the crystal clear water and do send us a postcard when you get there . We love Dominican Republic.
